Worries about flurries, don’t despair, get prepared.  Two 5-gallon buckets of sand per storm are available to residents during Transfer Station hours.

Hours of Operation:
Wednesdays:               3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Fridays:                        1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays:                    9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Closed all State Holidays. 

 
Acceptable forms of payment–Cash or Check.  Unable to accept credit/debit card payments.
All Municipal Solid Waste will be weighed and charged at the current weight of 10¢ per pound.

All construction Debris will need to go over the large scale and be charged at the current rate of 10¢ per pound.

Some residents answered with something other than YES or NO or left some answers blank. These answers were not included in the survey results.
Many people were interested in composting at the Transfer Station and in getting fresh compost from the Transfer Station.
There will be 25 residents for initial start-up. Mike and Mark from DEP to provide training and education along with materials to residents to begin the process.  There will be more information provided in the future.


The Free Event – Hosted by the Town of Windsor and the Kennebec Valley Council of Governments at the China Public Works
in China was a huge success. 

Due to the high success of this program, we are happy to announce that it will be a yearly event to be held in April. 

Thank you to all that was involved putting this together and those that participated.
