Windsor Board of Assessors

The Windsor Select Board members are also the Assessors for the Town of Windsor.  They are responsible for maintaining and updating the town property records kept at the Town Office.  Their duties include preparing the annual tax commitment, establishing just valuations, maintaining the town’s tax maps and filing all State mandated reports such as the municipal valuation return.  The Assessors approve all property tax exemptions and current use valuations for Tree Growth and Farmland properties. The Board of Assessors contract with an Assessors’ Agent who is a Certified Maine Assessor to assist them with their work.
